Awakening

This book is composed of four parts. The first three-Awakening, Energy, and Destiny-correspond respectively to the Id, the Ego, and the True Self.
Written at the age of forty, this book is a reflection on a half-lifetime of lived experience. It is a gift from a mother to her two beloved children. Life is long, and my only wish is for you to live in happiness and good health. When difficulties arise, may this book offer you a measure of comfort in moments of anxiety, and a spark of wisdom when you find yourselves lost or uncertain.
Love is an eternal force.
As stated above, this book is written as a message to my children. Its perspective is necessarily limited-like viewing a leopard through a bamboo tube, or the sky from the bottom of a well-and was never intended for a wider audience. Yet if by chance it finds its way into the hands of other readers, and brings a moment of joy or reflection, that too would be a blessing.
To meet through a book is itself a form of destiny. May everyone who reads these pages find fulfillment and completion in their own journey of life.
